He narrowly escaped. It is being told that on Saturday, Engineer Anwar Jameel had gone to inspect the erosion in the Ganga River. Suddenly, due to the strong pressure of water, his boat started drifting towards Kahalgaon. At the same time, his phone rang and due to a jolt, he fell from the boat into the water. However, the team present on the spot took immediate action and rescued him safely, which saved his life. After the incident, his condition deteriorated for some time. After this, he was given first aid, now his condition is safe.

Executive Engineer of Navagachia Flood Control Division Mukesh Kumar said that the Chief Engineer is safe and fine after the incident. He said that the Chief Engineer had a little panic due to drowning in water, but the NDRF team rescued him safely on time. Chief Engineer Anwar Jameel said that while he was inspecting nearby, the flow of water was very fast at that time. His boat was being pulled towards Kahalgaon due to water pressure. The NDRF team was trying to bring him back, during that time the Chief Engineer received a call on his mobile. Then this accident happened.
